Job Title: Manager-Access Support
Division: Network Operations
Reports To: Head-Field Operations
Job Summary:
Manage and oversee all network operations in assigned region
in order to ensure strict compliance with change execution and effective
routine and corrective maintenance activities by regional field team
Principal Functions:
- Manage regional Access, Power & Transmission availability and optimize diesel delivery, consumption monitoring, spares and consumables to reduce OPEX
- Manage vendors and enforce contracts, SLAs and penalty applications effectively
- Manage the human and material resources across assigned region and foster effective collaboration and communication among team members
- Manage quality network growth in assigned region by ensuring good handshake with Etisalat Planning, Implementation & Vendors EOT teams
- Conduct timely and qualitative PAT programmes, RFS and PAC as per the approved company process
- Manage incidence report for top management use, address issues highlighted in the individual cluster weekly report and generate effective monthly report for top management decision.
- Ensure proper audit, inventory and documentation of all sites in the region
Experience & Skills:
- Between five (5) and eight (8) years directly relevant post-NYSC work experience with at least most recent three (3) in a supervisory role
- Demonstrable industry experience in Mechanical/Electrical Power systems and GSM Access Network, Vsat, Multiplexers, Fibre and SDH MW Links within a large and reputable telco or other related technology organization
- Demonstrable industry experience in power & access networks operations and maintenance processes and procedures
- Good knowledge of 2G & 3G technology
- Good knowledge of GSM access/ transmission and AC/DC power operation and maintenance
- Demonstrable proficiency in the use of MS Office, MS Projects, AutoCAD
- Demonstrable excellence in time management, reporting and communication skills
